June 2012 photos

In June our sweet little Carson turned 8 months old.  He started crawling and showing more and more personality.  He is a flirt and gets a lot of attention every where we go... especially at church.  He loves to smile and wave and bat his big brown eyes.  He is so fun.

One of the kids favorite things to do is go camping.  We spent one night in Hood Park and had a great time!  We got the best spot in the campground with a huge field of grass to play in and right on the river.

Megan made Davis a neck tie out of Duct tape.
Once we got home (and cleaned up) I took some pictures of the girls.  They just keep on growing...

 And the boys...

Hallie graduated from Elementary.  Off to Middle School she goes.  :)

Father's Day we got Trev some camping chairs and our traditional hand print picture.

Hallie was in the schools Marimba band and she got to perform with a group in the tri-cities.  They did such a fantastic job.  It was so fun to listen to.

We also went camping with some good friends to Fish hook Lake.

May 2012

May started with our derby party!  It is something we look forward to every year.  This year we decorated hats and miniature horses and watched the Derby while eating our derby pie.  I love to see the familiar shots of Kentucky... still miss it.
We were so excited to have some very special people come visit us for part of May.  My mom and Melissa and her 3 kiddos came for almost 2 weeks and as always we LOVED having them here!
We visited on the back porch...

 Took lots of pictures...
Played with butterflies...
 Played at the park...
Took lots of allergy medicine (poor Campbell)...

Melissa helped me finish tiling my back splash!!!
Carson tortured Sander...
 He took it well.

And we even found a little time (in the late night hours) to work on some projects.
I painted these for my dining room.
Eventually they had to go back home to Utah and we were sad...
but we felt a little better when there was a butterfly migration through our neighborhood...

And a friends pirate birthday party...
And then this kid always cheers us up...
