Megan and her doll Grace

Megan loves dolls... just like I did as a child.
This is how I found her doll Grace this morning :
Here is a close up of the note that Grace was writing.

Campbell starts Preschool

This is Campbell's first year of preschool and he is LOVING it! (I am loving it too!)
His favorite thing is sharing time and he loves to bring something to show the class. He picks some of the funniest things to share like " a yellow shirt" and I think he has taken 3 or 4 different flashlights. What a cute little guy.

Uh-oh Davis found my jewelry.

The boys playing dress-up... in their underwear.

Love this one of Davis doing a Zorro move.

What do you do when your washing machine breaks and you no longer live by Brett and Kristine? You make your kids clean the clothes of course!

Hallie and Megan in the "coolest fort EVER!"

Davis loves to watch Trevor and I work and has figured out what to do with the stud finder.

Campbell is off to preschool in his welding mask.

Trip to Utah in August

I can't find all of pictures of our trip to Utah in August so I've been waiting to do a post but I'm giving up and just posting what I have.
So here they are...

We had a great time swimming in Kaye and Jerry's pool. Even Melissa and Avery joined us. :)

We spent one day at Willard Bay boating. Tinkerbelle got stuck in her pillow and I had to get a picture. poor dog

We also got to meet Melissa's new baby, Jane. What a sweetheart!
We did some other fun things too (like Lagoon and bowling) and as soon as I find those pictures I'll post them.

Not Approved

We went for a ride along the river today. Meg crashed right at the end here. Kathryn said I am not supposed to post pictures of her without her seeing it first. She has not seen this one so if she looks totally wierd..it is my fault and this message was not approved.

Megan's birthday and a trip to Oregon Coast

It's official, Megan is 7 years old!

She had a great birthday. She opened presents after breakfast and then we jumped in the car and headed for the coast.

It was COLD the whole time we were there (apparently that is normal for the Oregon coast) but it was BEAUTIFUL. We stopped to see the beach then went on to the beach house we rented (for a screaming deal btw).

Meg wanted a giant cookie for her cake, YUM!

The next day we explored The Port of Newport.

We spent the morning looking at shops and visiting the sea lions then we headed for the beach.

The beach by our place was very private and absolutely gorgeous! Trevor and I agreed, we couldn't think of another place we have been that was more beautiful... the pictures don't do it justice.

It was cold and windy but that didn't stop the kids. They were in heaven. Especially the boys... miles of sand to dig in.

We found this little lobster in the sand. Lucky for him we don't care for seafood. ;)

The next day we went to the Hatfield science center where Trevor, Hallie, and I touched an octopus! No pictures since I was too busy trying to build up the courage to stick my hand in the giant aquarium and touch the big guy. How cool is that!
They also had a petting pond for the whole family with all kinds of cool and slimy things.

We ran into a few crazy pirates...

before heading to the local lighthouse.

And finally, on the way home we stopped to see some amazing falls.
It's fun to live so close (okay 5 1/2 hours anyway) to such a beautiful part of the world.
We'll be back!
