Trip to Priest Lake, Idaho

In January we drove up to the panhandle of Idaho (on the border of Canada) to Priest lake to have some winter fun with our friends the Wolferts and the Golds.  It was so beautiful and peaceful there and we had a great time sledding, riding snow mobiles, and visiting with our friends.

Getting ready to go outside was quite the process!!  What a workout.. seriously, I was sweating.  Who needs the gym when you can burn as many calories getting four kids dressed for 0 degree weather.

Mmmmm, there is nothing like a mug of hot cocoa to warm up those frozen toes.
Of course, I spent most of the time toasty warm inside snuggling with this munchkin.

Baby Carson aka: Sweetest Baby in the World!

Carson is such a sweet baby.  He has brought so much love and joy into our home... how did we live without him??!!!
Here are a few pictures I took of him at 2 months old:

 Three months old:

We decided to bless Carson while we were in Utah so our family could be a part of it.
He was blessed Jan 1st, 2012 in Jerry and Kaye's home.
It was so nice to be surrounded by family for such a special occasion in Carson's life.

December 2011

We started December off with Davis' 3rd birthday!  He is such a fun boy and is growing so fast.
He is almost as tall as Campbell so people often ask us if they are twins.
For his birthday Davis chose Wendy's for dinner and a giant cookie instead of cake (it's in the shape of a D if you can't tell ;0).

Carson is growing and smiling which melts our hearts.
This is one of the first smiles we were able to catch with the camera... so sweet.

The boys love to hold Carson every chance they get.

Hallie was in the Marimba band this year.  We always looked forward to her concerts and enjoyed the unique music.   She did such a great job.
Another sweet smile from Carson.
Davis adores Carson.  For the first few months every morning he would come running into our room calling, "Carson!  Carson!  Where are you baby brother?!!"  He would find him (awake, thanks to his loud entrance) and he would nuzzle up to him and say, "I love you soooooo much" and hug and kiss on him.  What a great way to wake up!

Who knew that solo cups could be so fun?!

We invited some friends over Christmas Eve for pies and we had the kids act out the nativity.
It is always a highlight of the holidays at our house.

Christmas pajamas.
Christmas morning was full of excitement and WAY to many presents!

The very next day we jumped in our Yukon and headed to Utah to visit the fam and meet Melissa's new addition, Sander.
Carson is only 2 weeks older than Sander-man.  I have no doubt they will be good buddies.
More on our trip to Utah soon.  :)
