"Uh oh, binky broken"

I kept putting it off, with the new baby and then when Cam got so sick I couldn't take away his best friend but last week I had no more excuses and so I finally just did it.
I gathered all of the binkies and got rid of all but 2 of them which I cut off and laid out for Campbell to find. It didn't take long and he came to me with the binkies in hand and a concerned look on his face. "Binky broken?" he asked me over and over again.
Yep buddy, binky is broken.

Goooooooo Campbell! That kid is way, way, way too cute to have a binky stuck in his mouth distracting his handsome-ness! Genius way to do it!

Ahhh, poor little guy! I do NOT look forward to having to do that for Avery in a year or so!!

You brave woman! I am such a wuss, I've decided that's why my kids never took binkies...someone knew I wouldn't have the guts to get them off of them, so go you! :)

Way to go mom! He's much more photogenic without his binky in his mouth. Just so you know, when he stayed with us that day Trevor was at the wedding he hardly ever picked up the binky, so I think he'll do fine without it.

Dad

Way to be! That is such a hard thing to do, but I guess it has to be done! What a cutie that Campbell is!

The oldest two had their pacifiers until they had just turned 2. I remember wondering how I was going to get rid of them and they found them broken (they had actually cracked on their own from too much sucking) and that was the end of that. Is he coping okay?
