Battle of the Books

Hallie was in "The Battle of the Books" at her school this year. The kids are given a list of 10 books to read and then there is a competition where they are quizzed on those books. Hallie loves to read and so this challenge fit her perfectly. She was so excited she could hardly sleep the night before.
She came home from school beaming with a 2nd Place ribbon around her neck.
Way to go Hallie!!!

I am so happy that you love to read. Reading is not only fun but very important. There is a series of books about Beatrix Potter(the woman who wrote Peter Rabit and other childrens books) written by Susan Wittig Albert. They are good, the animals talk (of course the people can't hear them) excet Beatrix seems to kind of sense what they mean. Anyway there is always a little problem to figure out and everything always turns out just right. They may be a little more (serious) reading than you want but you won't know unless you check them out and see. I've enjoyed them!
Congratulations on your award. You rock!!!
Love you tons
