March 2012

I was a terrible picture-taker in March.
We had a great month and had our friends the Noacks,  Leslie and Ty, and my mom and dad come to visit and would you believe I did not get ONE picture of any of them.  I was enjoying their company so much I didn't even think to pull out my camera.
Here are the picture I did take this month...

Hallie graduated from the DARE program.

Campbell and Davis helping fan the smoke from my sweet potato mishap.

Carson's first solid food, yummy rice cereal.
He wasn't so sure at first...

But then he decided it wasn't so bad. :)

Trevor turned 34.  The girls dressed him up for the occasion.

Then Hallie celebrated her 11th birthday and (although there is no pictures for proof) Grandma and Grandpa Law were here to celebrate with us.

I can't believe she will be in Young Women's and Middle school next year!  Hallie is (as always) such a kind and good hearted person.  She is always thinking of others feelings and just is a ray of sunshine.  This last year she has found a love for music.  She loves playing piano and being in the marimba band and plans on learning violin in middle school.  She also excels in her academics.  She made principals list all year and tested in the top 10% nationally on the MAP test.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HALLIE!  WE LOVE YOU!

I guess I do have proof that Grandma and Grandpa were here since Hallie is holding their dog.  :)
Oh look, I just found a picture of my dad too.  PROOF! ;)

February 2012

Campbell turned 5 years old in February and had his first friend birthday party.
I tried to make a robot cake per request by the birthday boy.

He was pretty calm and quiet...

Until it was time to open the presents!!

Campbell is a spunky little guy.  He is smart as a whip and has a great sense of humor.  I can't believe he will be starting school!!  He is so nervous (says he isn't going!) but I know he is going to love it.
At his 5 year check-up he was 43 1/4 inches (56%) and 41.6lbs (55%).
Love you Campbell-man!

Ahhh. silly glasses on my sweet little boys.

 Makes me smile.

Carson helping with the laundry.  The never ending laundry...

Every Valentines day we do a traditional treasure hunt.  It is such a fun tradition.  I make hints that send them all over the house and make them do specific things like crawl to the next clue etc.
They love it!
 (crawling to the back porch)
 (hopping to the craft room)
Finally, they make it to the Valentine treasure which includes treats, toys, and a letter to each child telling them how much we love them.
Carson looks so cute all clean and naked.
Megan and Hallie help me so much with Carson.  They will make great mommies some day.

 ...never ending laundry...

I don't know who took this picture but I love it!  I adore my baby Carson.

Trip to Priest Lake, Idaho

In January we drove up to the panhandle of Idaho (on the border of Canada) to Priest lake to have some winter fun with our friends the Wolferts and the Golds.  It was so beautiful and peaceful there and we had a great time sledding, riding snow mobiles, and visiting with our friends.

Getting ready to go outside was quite the process!!  What a workout.. seriously, I was sweating.  Who needs the gym when you can burn as many calories getting four kids dressed for 0 degree weather.

Mmmmm, there is nothing like a mug of hot cocoa to warm up those frozen toes.
Of course, I spent most of the time toasty warm inside snuggling with this munchkin.
