Something Red

Ever since we moved here I have been looking for some red hanging plants to put on my front porch. I looked all over and just couldn't find anything I loved so I gave up hope on red flowers and talked to Trevor about painting our door or our swing red. Unfortunately Trevor doesn't share my passion for the color. I just wanted something RED! Today I looked out the window and had to catch my breath when I saw this... Isn't it beautiful?!? I don't even know what kind of tree it is and I know that it will only last for a little while which is why I will be looking out my windows and swinging on the porch swing and pulling out my camera a little more... enjoying our beautiful red tree.

You can absolutely put a link to my blog on yours, so long as I can link to yours. I love blogging, and I especially like reading other people's comments!

I love the red trees the very, very most in the fall! You're lucky you have one in your own yard.

I love your red tree! Red is my favorite color, ask my kids... I have way to many red shirts and red stuff in my house.

BEAUTIFUL! I definitely miss the beautiful fall colors. We just don't have that kind of scenery down here in the desert. I'm glad you finally got your red foliage.

That is so beautiful!! I think you should paint your door red. That would be so beautiful. Just tell Trev that you REALLY REALLY REALLY want the door painted and you would love it to be done before your beautiful red tree is gone. Tell him it would be such a wonderful act of kindness..stuff like that. :)

Love the red tree! Your own little miracle. I saw Carry Sawyer at Sams a couple of days ago she wanted to know how to contact you. I gave her your blog address and your e-mail address so you should be hearing from her. She sure had a cute little girl. Any way if you don't hear from her maybe you could contact her.

I'm in great company, for I too LOVE the color red. It's so inspiring. And I'm dying with how beautiful fall is this year. I love how long it has lingered. We deserve it. Your tree is beautiful.
