Please pass the Tylenol

I promise I don't beat him.

He does this to himself. It's like he has a huge magnet in his forehead that is attracted to any hard or pointy object that is sure to leave a bruise or puncture wound.

Seriously, what is the deal with boys?!? If we even say the word danger Campbell's head pops up like "where?"

His favorite things are cords, electrical outlets, stairs, sharp objects, and anything he might possibly be able to choke on. I'm serious! I can put a pile of brightly colored, brand-new, fun toys in front of him and he will climb right over them (probably trip on them and smack his head on the coffee table) and head for the newly sharpened pencil or electrical outlet 4 feet away.

I have a feeling Campbell's grandmas are feeling a little worried right about now...sorry grandmas ;).

Campbell's other favorite thing to do (at least twice a day) is find each an every cabinet in our house and open the cabinet then slam the cabinet on his fingers and scream. This is a really fun game.

Trevor is trying to come up with a bungee cord system. Maybe attach the bungee to the ceiling fan in our family room and clip it onto a harness for Cam with like an 8 ft radius.

I think it just might work.

Holy cow Kathryn!!! What happened to his head?? Boys, boys, boys...isn't it crazy after 2 girls to see how differnent the other sex is? Even being married to one can't prepare us for raising one.

He looks pretty beat up, huh.
He was standing, holding onto the wall and he would put his head around the corner to play peek-a-boo with me. Well, he was having so much fun he did his usual head-banging move that he does when he is happy and smacked his head right onto the corner of the wall. As soon as he pulled his head back from the wall I saw a huge purple line where it hit and I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. At this point I just hug him, kiss his boo-boos, and shake my head. Poor kid.

What a funny little boy! I guess that's boys for ya, huh? I will have to post a picture of my brother Austin when he fell off a railing 2 yrs ago and got a huge goose egg like Campbell's!

Poor Campbell, He sure looks rough. It's a good thing that babies amd small children heal quickly. Give the little guy a hug from us. XOXO

By the way do you remember the time you did the "achoo bonk".

Welcome to the world of BOYS! Yes, they are danger magnets. Nathan broke his arm at age 3. I'm shocked Marshall hasn't broken anything yet. He gets into EVERYTHING. He wants to plug things in too because he says he is a BIG BOY!!! That reminds me of my friend's little girl..she climbed up and sat in the silverware drawer! AAHHH!!

Kathryn, after talking with you at church about how busy baby's can be, I had no idea. You really do have a busy boy. I'm sure the busy, into everything will never change, but maybe doing it with a little more grace is sure to come eventually. What a cute boy!
