Tomorrow is the Kentucky Derby and that is a BIG deal around here
(this is Kentucky you know).
It's a lot of fun since everyone gets into the spirit of Derby.
Yesterday the kids came home with paintings of horses, new facts about horses, and even shiny metals around their necks from their "derby races" at school.
Megan made a beautiful Derby hat.
She is under there somewhere.She thought Davis needed a Derby hat too so she made him this one:

Meg, I love your hat! You are so creative. Just yesterday I was telling someone what a good artist you are. You are a great sister too. Looks like Davis was all set for Derby Day. You can tell just by looking at Davis's big smile that he really likes the hat you made for him.
Look at Davis!!! He has gotten so big...what a cutie pie. Her and Liah have the same tender big sister gene I think. Isn't it great :)
